ANIMATION SAVES AS A .BMP INSTEAD OF .GIF

This is caused when the Temporary Internet Files (Cache) in Internet Explorer has become full. You will need to clear these files.

1. In Internet Explorer, select Tools/Internet Options...

2. Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files... then click ok.

Your computer may take 10-20 min to delete these files if you haven't done it before. Be patient.

This process does not harm your computer. It is like emptying the trash. Every time you visit a website, Internet Explorer saves a copy of the website to this folder, so if you return in the future, the website will load faster. When this folder becomes full, it causes performance problems and may cause you to have difficulties accessing some web pages and features.

Once the files are deleted, you will be able to save .GIF images again!
