How Do I Use Animations In Eudora?
There are several good email programs out there that can send our animated GIFs, and Eudora is one of them that many of our customers use. To make it easier for beginners to take advantage of our GIFs in Eudora, we offer this tutorial in hopes that it will make it easier for you.A few tips to consider:
1. If you want the animation to show up directly in the body of the message, you must be composing your message in styled (or HTML) format. You cannot send images within the body of your e-mail if you are sending plain text messages only. To enable styled formatting in Eudora go to your menus and select 'Tools', then select 'Options', now scroll down the list and select 'Styled Text'. Finally, click on 'Send both plain and styled' for the most freedom, or 'Send styled text only' if your certain you only want to send styled emails.
2. You can always send an image as an attachment, without changing the format of your message.
3. We highly recommend downloading the animations from our site first and saving them to a folder on you local drive to then use with your e-mail.
Eudora (we used version Eudora 5.2):
1. Open a new email message and click in the body text area.
2. Press the 'Insert Object' icon to choose the image to use.

3. Navigate to the folder you created that holds your Animation Factory GIFs. Once there, you'll need change the 'Files of type' menu so it says 'All files'. For some reason the Eudora object selecter does not recognize GIFs as an image format, despite that it works well in it's emails. Now select the GIF you'd like to use and click 'Open'.

4. Your Animation Factory GIF should now appear in the email message, but it will not animate at this point. After sending the email the image will be animated for the recipient and in your saved messages.

That's it!
We hope this helps get you started sending the fun
images from the Animation Factory.
